The officers and I are getting a number of requests about guild bank items (specifically shards and epic gear on the final tab) - here is the info you seek. Raid Members can request epic gear from the last tab - the reason we give it to Raid Members is because we want to give the gear to members that are going to raid (which helps to get more epics into the bank) and progress the guild. This gear will not be handed out to alts unless we decided to have a GB "sale" at which point people can buy the items at a discounted price from the GB (as compared to current AH prices).
Regarding abyss crystals, members who are enchanting their main spec PVE gear can request abyss crystals for enchants. We are currently limiting the number of abyss crystals to 3 per request. This is also subject to a limitation based on rank and how often you raid. Don't expect to get any crystals if you show up for raids once every couple of weeks ... the more you raid, the more benefits you get =) It is that simple!
